The Water Tower of Lüneburg
Built in 1906, the Water Tower shapes the skyline of Lüneburg as well as the churches. Closed in 1985, it was not used for many years and began to dilapedate. The EXPO 2000 brought new life, a private association and the neighboring Primaryschool gathered funds - today the Tower offers a programm for visitors as well as locals. Guided tours are given, by the still passionately involved students, exhibitions and concerts invite you in. Not to mention the best view over Lüneburg!
